My name is Karen and I’m 27 years old. For practical purposes, I’ll say I live in Seattle, though technically I live just north of it in Shoreline’s North City neighborhood. For four full and very fun years prior, I lived in Seattle’s various neighborhood, but last year I decided it was time to seek a more affordable and relaxed life.
I was born and raised in the heart of Los Angeles, then I moved to the Bay Area for college. I studied philosophy at UC Berkeley, and preferred living in Oakland. While in the Bay Area, I also spent a lot of time in San Francisco and Santa Cruz. My northward travels went eastward after college, when I lived in Baltimore and played in New York for a couple years. When I got accepted to law school in Seattle, I moved back west. Since my move to Washington in 2010, I’ve fallen absolutely in love with this place and consider it my home.
This is the blog I’d like to maintain moving forward in my life, though you are certainly welcome to peruse the musings I’ve had from 2010-2015 by checking out my Old Blog.
